Here is another recent poem. I usually do not like people to read these, but I think it's time for some feedback.
Your words grab at my throat, suffocating all possible responses.
Your image is reflected as a question, crying, screaming for a reaction.
Your worries drip through the veins concealed inside of a hesitant personality.
Your life shines as Just a memory.
A memory I wish I could encounter...yet again.
Your eyes meet mine.
"Who are you?"
I'm lost within your excuses, you’re reasoning behind your faults.
"Come back... I beg you."
I shed tears as you laugh right in front of me.
You poke fun at my misunderstandings and my attempts for success.
You know it all.
You know my weaknesses and secrets and you stay to watch as I reach my heat.
You lock me behind closed doors that I am unable to pry open.
You stare me down and I continue to suffer...
Willingly.
Invisibility? Or lack thereof?
